Postbaccalaureate

A postbaccalaureate, or "post-bacc," is considered a stepping stone or a bridge to graduate or professional school (i.e., medical school) as it helps you transition into these programs. A post-bacc is a program done after completing your bachelor's degree. There are different types of post-bacc programs. A post-bacc is typically a 1-3 year program. There are formal (i.e., found at universities) and informal programs (i.e., you create your own).
